Who Do You Say That I Am?
Description

Jesus asked His disciples on one accasion, “Who do people say that I am?” and then later seeking their affirmation He personalized the question saying, “Who do you think that I am?”  It was an important question at the time and it is an important question for us today.  When you consider the claims of Jesus and His followers that He was/is God with us – Immanuel – and the ramifications that are present if these claims are proven true in the end – then it matters a great deal to all of us to answer the question of whether Jesus was just a Good Teacher, a Prophet, a Political Activist or in fact, as He claimed, God.

It is important to determine not only that He is Christ, but to define what that means.  What does it mean to be the Christ, what does that look like?  What would the Messiah look like or do – there was a lack of consensus among the people then and there still can be confusion among people today.  This Dramatic Passion Week series poses the question to its audience and perhaps over the course of this 3 part series you will be able to answer with confidence who you believe Jesus was.  Perhaps it will confirm what you already believe or deepen your faith in Him.

This second installment from Good Friday, April 14, 2017 looks at the question through the eyes of a the Apostle Peter (Played by Jason Weatherford) and a Roman Centurian (Played by Devin Pearson).

(Unfortunately the entire message could not be presented due to technical difficulties from that night).
